In fertility issues: Adoption or Surrogacy

Since before the arrival of the Royal Baby Prince George of Cambridge, The economy of the British Government have been predicted to shoot higher because the baby boom. So, many people have reconsidered their priorities and I am sure baby making rituals have increased in performance too. This brings me to the order of the day. What about couples who have tried for so many years to have babies and still haven't been able to. Some have abandoned all hope while others have resulted to other options of adoption and surrogacy.
Most celebrities I know have used more of surrogacy than adoption in these recent years since they have come to terms with their fertility issues. I for one think that surrogacy is much better since the baby should still have the genetic code of the parents although I still like adoption as it is a way for families to feel complete after many children or after so many trials have failed. The thing is that the Child Services and Social Services system is not perfect. Some children have been the the victims of the most horrible child abuse cases. Others are just kept around for the monthly cheque. I believe others find good homes and are cared for. Another problem of adoption is that some mothers find it difficult to connect with the child and the worst  case I have seen was when a birth mother changed her mind at day 56 since the adoption clause of that state says the birth mother still had till day 60 to change her mind. Some couples find it so devasting that to try again is beyond what their hearts can take and so just might give up.
The other option is surrogacy. I'm sure it is way better an option for couples although it is quite expensive. The surrogate  mother has to be taken car of from the beginning of the pregnancy to the end and after. Also you have to spend money on research to find the best person as your carrier, pay them and also make sure they are not crazy as to decide to keep the baby afterwards. And you also need a lawyer to make sure you are protected in this deal. I'm sure some Nigerian girls wouldn't think this is such a bad offer as it is say better than the awful things some have to do for money.
But then again, "What do I know?".
Happy week ahead.

Private School Succession saga

It's no news that not a lot of us young geniuses like to teach. Take the NYSC service year for example I could bet you that not a lot of us youth corpers could stand the classroom, and the teaching, the lesson note deadlines, the test deadlines, the exam making and recording. Trustme, it wasn't all that princessy.
This brings me to the order of the day. I was reading the paper last few weeks when this topic caught my eye. It was quite intriguing that there was a dilemma for private school owners over the persons that would succed them after they were gone. Some wanted it to be their children who took the mantle of the private schools while the school administrators thought it should be them in as much as the children wanted nothing to do with education. Let's look at this way from the school administrators who believe they should be part owners of the school as some incentive for all the many years of hardwork so that the proprietor if gone would have left the school in the best hands. We all know that we are human beings and one of the most common things humans have been driven crazy bout from the beginning of time itself is greed. The truth is if some proprietor were to give part ownership of his or her school to an administrator there is a possibility of the administrator turning it into his or her business and making sure that the school never belongs to the proprietor's family again.
It could just be like the parable Jesus said about some landowner who employed laborers to tend his vines but the laborers  became greedy even to the point of killing his only son. It could also go in the direction of the way it happen in Tron: The Legacy when the company's board of directors decided it was more profitable to go against the wishes of the owner of th company.
I'm just saying that in my opinion some School administrator could want to school to his or her family and on some nonsense plea called years of service, he or she owns the school then the owners children be left destitute despite the sweat of the parents.
It could also go the other way around when the children who want nothing to do with eduction take over the school and run the organisation down with misplaced policies. The children may also have this insane idea of them being boss and lack respect for the people who tirelessly make sure the ham is on their tables day by day.
Like the prestigious newspaper concluded which I concur school owners should integrate their children in the school administration and day to day runnings if they intend the children to be successors of the school organisation. Have a Lovely week ahead.

Happy Eid Mubarak

I know my family used to be Muslim but I amloving this Eid Mubarak. I didn't need to be a Muslim to enjoy the holiday. It didn't start all so chummy. I got woken up from bed to get things ready like the 5th time this week. I am not complaining just that I don't get the right amount of sleep at night so I love my mornings. And once I am up it has been diffult to get back to bed. Anyway we were up for house chores and it had to be to my mum's taste or we do it all over again. By We, I mean my siblings and I.
After work I had to get back into bed to have my rest only for my to be disturbed continually by buzzing phone calls and messages.
Of course I went back to sleep each time but  by 4 pm Mum woke us all up to have lunch and now me awake again. Sleep was wonderful but lunch was glorious. It was like Chrismas came early has we had our favorite dish and boy am I happy I woke up. My younger ones and I are all potbellied around the house just waiting for nightfall and the generator to make it all come together.
Happy holidays to everyone. Catch y'all later

Aaarrrgghhhh siblings!!!!

Is it just me or is it that sometimes it appears the Moms just try to talk too much about everything. Things you should do and things you shouldn't do and i am sure my friend +WickliffeOluseyi wouldn't agree to this which I just said one bit. The problem isn't the fact that Moms love us so much enough to give us thier motherly advice. The problem is the cause of the talk.
I love my younger ones but sometimes siblings are just an excuse for you I get this "talks". They deprive you of somethings and give some situations to handle that make ou wish that "parenthood" didn't come so early and when you didn't need it. the other day I couldn't see a movie because it wasn't age appropriate for them. Then I couldn't go to a shop because they were too noisy to be around.
The one we all love not to notice is house chores. The simple fact it in as much as no one calls your name to do a thing you don't feel responsible for it so when the only name they call is yours, everyone seems to just give you space and at the end of the day after delegation and supervision you still get the blame. If I was president for a day.i would degree that all elderest first born children be allowed to work at the top positions of the organisational hierarchy. I'm sure the personi gave the job would be naturals and get the job done. If you ask me I'll say, 'I gave the job to the person with the most experience'.
Younger ones can give headache and Moms can be not much fun but  we all be in a ditch without them all. So..

Great times, Friends

OMG its been a long time really. I have been so busy these last few years. Well, I am a graduate of the critically acclaimed Great Ife. I have also serve my country in the sunshine state, Ondo State. I am now back home and soaking it all in.
The last few weeks have been crazy. Although you could say I am mostly home but I also go out once or twice in a week for functions and the rest. Just last month I visited two ghosts of girlsfriend's past. I went to a primary school/friend's wedding and I also visited my secondary school.
For my frineds's wedding it was so wonderful. There is nothing like young love. Congratulations to you Mrs Atayese Olamide Risi (née Ogunbanwo). I really tried to attend this particular  wedding ceremony because something always came up. The last wedding I could remember being in attendance was in 2007 and it was my second cousin's wedding. The dude didnt know who I was I was. I also travelled to my secondary school and I couldn't believe it had been 6 years. I began to tell myself, "I'm getting old". I had so much fun that weekend and it was I couldn't remember the last time I laughed so hard bout so little things.
Well for this month I don't know yet I think I jus might let the month play itself out but it's so good I can find myself say hi to to the many people ho have checked this place out from all over the world. Many thanks also to the ones who think that they could write everything verbatim to their own site . At least a "courtesy by Odekanmi Billion wouldn't hurt.
I have also graced the now opened Shoprite at the Cocoa house like four times now and I can't wait to go again for the movies this time though at the the FilmHouse cinemas. Do you know that you can pay just #500 for an all day movie ticket for Wednesdays(except 3D movies) and I think this is great deal.
Although, when you really think about no one would want to be at the movie all day but I would because movies are my guilty pleasures. I can't help it really? I have seen White House Down and if I don't see it listed when nominations start at the awards season there would be war. This month of August would be action packed because of movies like World War Z, Percy Jackson sequel, How to train your Dragon sequel  and so much more movies. Anyways I hope the years have been kind to you. Talk to you soon and great month ahead
