First, what is TWILIGHT ?
Twilight in my opinion is the Vampiest Vampire movie of this age with an High School Setting. The next is the Underworld series. Then after that, others can come after. Twilight is a set of four vampire-based fantasy romance novels by an American author named Stephenie Meyer. They are Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
It is based on chapters of life of a teenage girl named Isabella Swan known as Bella. Bella moves to Forks from Washington. She moves from her mothers’ to father’ residence because the mothers’ new husband was on the road(a base ball player). Bella falls in love with Edward Cullen a 104 year old vampire(Isn‘t that romantic). Edward is the first son of the Cullen Clan. The Cullen Family consist of two parents and five children. The parents are Dr. Carlisle and Mrs Esme Cullen. The children apart from Edward are Emmett, Rosalie, Jasper and Alice. The vampires in the series have different powers. Dr. Carlisle has ability to show care and Mrs Esme, love. For the children; Edward- strength, speed, ability to read minds, Emmett-strength, Alice-ability to see the future, Jasper-to feel and control emotions, Rosalie-beauty. Bella on the other hand is prone to accidents.

The book series is told primarily from Bella's point of view, with the epilogue of Eclipse and Part II of Breaking Dawn being told from the viewpoint of character Jacob Black, a werewolf. Jacob Black is the son of Billy Black, a cripple and friend of Bella’s Dad, Charlie. Jacob Black is a friend to Bella since childhood.
Since the release of the first novel, Twilight, in 2005, the books have gained excellent admiration and commercial success around the world. The series is most popular among young adults and the movies too. The four books have won multiple awards, most notably the British Book Award in 2008 for "Children's Book of the Year" for Breaking Dawn, but the whole series as won the Kids' Choice Award 2009 in for ‘Favorite Book‘.
By March 2010, the series has sold over 100 million copies around the globe with interpretations into at least 38 different languages in the world.
Twilight
Twilight in my opinion is the introduction of the three books. Isabella ‘Bella’ Swan(Kristen Stewart) moves from Phoenix, Arizona to live with her father(Charlie) in Forks, Washington. Charlie is the sheriff of Forks with a population of less than 3900. Bella did this to allow her mother to travel with her new husband, a minor league baseball player. After moving to Forks, Bella finds herself involuntarily drawn to a mysterious, handsome boy, Edward Cullen. Edward Cullen is played by Robert Pattinson. It was speculated that the part of Edward was tried for by four different guys but Rob was chosen by Stewart after shooting the kissing scene. Bella eventually learns that he is a member of a vampire family(The Cullens) who drinks animal blood rather than human since they think of themselves as the ‘vegetarians’. A comparison was made by Edward when he compared animal blood to tofu and human blood to chicken.
Edward and Bella fall in love as a Lion will fall in love with the Lamb. In school they were laboratory partners in Biology. James, a sadistic vampire from another vampire coven comes into the picture along with Victoria and Laurent when the family goes to play a baseball game. James is drawn to hunt down Bella and he‘s ability is to track down. Edward and the other Cullens defend Bella even Rosalie who doesn‘t like Bella very much. She escapes to Phoenix, Arizona, where she is tricked into confronting James by thinking that her mother‘s life was endangered, who then tries to kill her. She is seriously wounded, but Edward rescues her. They return to Forks together with his family, having killed James.
New Moon
Edward and his family leave Forks because he believes he is endangering Bella's life. This decision was made after the accident that occurred at Bella’s birthday party. Bella was about to open a present and had a paper cut. In the process of protecting her, Edward flung her out of Jasper’s way but only causes more hurt for Bella. Bella falls into a deep depression, until she develops a strong friendship with Jacob Black. Jacob Black was like a succour for Bella in getting out of her depression. Later, she discovers Jacob Black can shape shift into a wolf by accident . Jacob and the other wolves in his tribe must protect her from Victoria, a vampire seeking to avenge the death of her mate James. A misunderstanding occurs, and Edward believes Bella is dead. Edward decides to commit suicide in Volterra, Italy, but he is stopped by Bella, who is accompanied by Edward's sister, Alice. at the nick of time They meet with the Volturi, a powerful vampire coven. The Volturi are the closest thing the Vampires have to royalty. They( Edward, Bella and Alice) are released only on the condition that Bella be turned into a vampire in the near future by Aro, the Volturi‘s spokesperson. Bella and Edward are reunited, and she and the Cullens return to Forks.
Eclipse
The vampire Victoria (James' mate from Twilight) has created an army of "newborn" vampires to battle the Cullen family and murder Bella for vengeance. Meanwhile, Bella is compelled to choose between her relationship with Edward and her friendship with Jacob. Edward's vampire family and Jacob's werewolf pack join forces to successfully destroy Victoria and her vampire army. Bella chooses Edward's love over Jacob's and agrees to marry him.. The love triangle is now more pronounced unlike in New Moon.
Main characters
· Isabella "Bella" Swan – The protagonist of the series, teenager Bella is a perpetually clumsy "danger magnet" with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is often portrayed as having low self-esteem and unable to comprehend Edward's love for her. She has an immunity to supernatural abilities involving the mind, such as Edward's mind-reading ability.
· Edward Cullen – Edward is a vampire who lives with a coven of like-minded vampires known as the Cullen family, who feed on animals rather than humans. Over the course of the Twilight series, Edward falls in love with, marries, and then has a child with Bella. At first, Edward feels a mutual hatred toward Jacob Black because of his love for Bella, but in Breaking Dawn, he comes to see Jacob as a brother and friend. Like some vampires, Edward has a supernatural ability: mind reading. It allows him to read anyone's thoughts within a few miles radius. Bella is immune to his power as a human, but learns how to lower this "shield" after her transformation to a vampire.
· Jacob Black – A minor character in the first novel, Jacob is introduced as a member of the Quileute tribe. He resurfaces in New Moon with a much larger role as Bella's best friend as she struggles through her depression over losing Edward. Although he is in love with Bella, she initially sees him as just her best friend. He and other tribe members can shape shift into wolves. In Eclipse Bella realizes that she loves Jacob, though her feelings for him are overpowered by her love for Edward Cullen. In Breaking Dawn, Jacob finds a (platonic) soulmate in Bella and Edward's baby daughter, Renesmee, ridding him of his heartache for Bella.
